As the single father of two young children, ages 14 and 12, I began to realize that  it was my responsibility, as much as the public school system , to ensure that my children got the best possible education available. That was the driving force that moved me in the direction of Tyler's Toy Store. With one goal in mind, I decided to offer and promote award-winning toys, books and games that would educate, inspire and inform young minds around the country, while at the same time encourage greater parental involvement. And that's exactly what my web site is achieving! I have made it my mission to give a unique voice to the world of educational toys and games.  In order to get Tyler more involved, I have decided to give him a bigger say in what products "Tyler's Toy Store" will carry. Giving Children More Self-Confidence

Guided by an innate interest in the overall well being of my own children, it occurred to me that young kids gain more self-confidence when challenged with something that stretches the mind and the imagination. With a strong desire to help children gain a leading edge, I began the process of developing a site that would make a real difference. Kids are our future and because our school systems are asked to do more with less. I wanted to do something to change that while at the same time finding a way to give back to my community. It gives me great satisfaction and a sense of fulfillment, knowing that I'm achieving my goals by helping children gain self-esteem through educational activities.

To achieve my goals, I set out on a course to search out award winning toys and games that provide what every child deserves; educational toys that inspire, educate, and expand upon a young person's mind. In a word, it was my goal to provide the impetus that encouraged children to grow. To that end, featured on the Tyler's Toy Store web site is an array of special and unique toys, games, kits, posters, DVD's, CD's musical instruments and puzzles that both challenge the mind and are a great deal of fun. But even more important, each product presented at Tyler's Toy Store gives young children the fuel that ignites imagination and ultimately gives young children a most important advantage. 

Giving to Charity

My goal is to give 10% from each and every sale made at Tyler's Toy Store.  To contribute to the less fortunate in a meaningful way, to that end, my donations will go to charities that focus on child development. At this time, as of August 8, 2007, I have yet to make any substantial contributions due to lack of sales and my compainy's financial health. But I promise, as soon as things get rolling, I plan to make a difference. My goal is to donate at least $10,000 per year.  Only You, My Customer, can help me make this a reality.
